According to the Chinese animal zodiac, Dog individuals (those born in the year of the Dog) are the most humanitarian, and hold true to justice and equality.
They are touted to be givers in life, prepared to sacrifice their own dreams, ambitions and desires for the sake of others, particularly for those they love.
They are also supposedly fiercely loyal to those they love, ever ready to jump to the defence of any family member or friend who is being attacked by either word or deed - and with a penchant for championing the underdog.
The 14th General Election (GE14) is likely to be held before July - in the Chinese Lunar Calender Year Of The Dog.
I sincerely wish and hope that Malaysians will use their wisdom according to the characteristics of the Dog to cast their ballots in GE14.
To me, what is crucial and important to the future of Malaysians and Malaysia is to clearly differentiate the roles of state assemblymen and Members of Parliament (MPs).
Next, they must reject individuals, from both sides of the political divide, who have displayed the tendency to support extremism.
Those elected must be leaders who are able to declare “I Am Malaysian First” without a wee bit of hesitation.

As I have been nominated by my party (Gerakan) to contest N.37 Bukit Lanjan (a state seat) in Selangor for the coming GE14, I hope voters will vote wisely, not with emotion or blind support.
My election slogan, Let Bukit Lanjan Soar: For a Safer, Cleaner & United Community is realistic and achievable.

If elected, I do not determine the leadership of Putrajaya because I am not running for Parliament. But for a state seat, I can pledge to sincerely strive diligently and honestly to bring about a better quality of life to Bukit Lanjan residents.
With the above appeal, I wish Malaysians, especially ethnic Chinese, a very happy and prosperous Chinese Year.
Also, Almighty God bless us all with good health always.
