WISHING MALAYSIANS A VERY MERRY X'MAS, HAPPY, HARMONIOUS AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR

FOOTNOTE: The above is only a fun video clip for the festive season. It contains “non-halal” wordings. We wish to remind Malaysians that dim sum is an international cuisine and that many hotels serve halal dim sum, including restaurants like Maju Palace Restaurant @Maju Junction.

These are indeed very challenging social and economic times for Malaysians and Malaysia.

And 2017 is expected to be even tougher than it has ever been, with the Ringgit weakened significantly and remaining above the US$1 to RM4 international forex exchange.

It is now above US$1 to RM4.50, and the Ringgit is not expected to recover or strengthen significantly in the short-term.

I, however, believe Malaysians can pull themselves out of the social and economic doldrums by remaining united as 1Malaysians, and rejecting those who threaten national unity with their words and actions.

Malaysians living in a multi-racial-religious country must forever treasure and uphold national unity by living together as one.

Only with a strong united front can Malaysians realistically hope for a speedy and prosperous economic recovery for our beloved country.

This can only be achieved with the wisdom of truly sincere leaders from both sides of the political divide, irrespective of race, creed and religion.

Like they say, united we stand, divided we fall. This means we need sane and sincere leaders from both sides of the political divide to guide Malaysians and Malaysia to the light at the end of the tunnel.

With the 14th General Election (GE14) looming, the fate and future of Malaysians and Malaysia lay in the decisions of citizens who value harmony, integrity and sincerity as leadership qualities.
