KUALA LUMPUR: An Indonesian domestic worker who went to a police station to report mistreatment by her employer was raped by a policeman. A source said the 24-year-old woman had ran away on Monday evening as she could no longer put up with her employer. She had told her story to a woman who took her to the Skudai police station. There, a 30-year-old policeman offered to send her back to Bukit Indah to get her passport. But, he took her to a hotel in Senai town instead and forced her to have sex … for more, go to https://www.nst.com.my/news/crime-courts/2018/04/359603/cop-accused-raping-indonesian-maid-who-wanted-report-abusive-boss

If concrete evidence found against rapist cop, show no mercy!

The Star Online report titled “Policeman detained for allegedly raping maid in budget JB hotel” is most despicable, if the allegation is proven true.

The maid went to a police station to lodge a report against her employer and to seek help.

“Instead of getting help, the policeman allegedly took her to a budget hotel and raped her,” Gerakan Deputy Speaker Syed Abdul Razak Alsagoff said.

“If the allegation is found to be valid, then the despicable crime is unforgivable. The rapist cop must face the full brunt of the law,” he added.

The authorities, especially the police force, are supposed to protect the citizens. So imagine the horror Malaysians have to go through when we hear stories like these! Five years ago, former Deputy Superintendent Rohaizat Abd Ani aged 58, committed rape and sodomy on a 13 year-old girl. The New Straits Times reported that yesterday (23rd March), Rohaizat lost his appeal case to dismiss the rape and sodomy charges made by the Kota Kinabalu sessions court … for more, go to https://www.worldofbuzz.com/ex-police-chief-sabah-40-years-jail-raping-underaged-girl/

Syed Razak, who is Gerakan’s nominee to contest N.37 Bukit Lanjan in the May 9 14th General Election (GE14), said “there should be no mercy for the cop because he had not only committed a despicable crime, he has tarnished the image of the police force”.

“The rape would have also adversely affected public confidence in law enforcement. When you need help, you go to the police but instead, you become a victim of crime.

“What do you expect the public to think about the police force? Therefore, if there is concrete evidence against the cop, he should be charged and given a maximum sentence,” he added.

JOHOR BARU: A police personnel has been detained for allegedly raping an Indonesian maid at a budget hotel along Jalan Belimbing in Senai here.

Johor CID chief Senior Asst Comm Kamaluddin Kassim said the 30-year-old suspect, who is attached to the Skudai police station, was arrested on Wednesday after the woman lodged a police report.

He said investigations revealed that the maid had run away from her employer's house at Taman Bukit Indah here.

"The victim went to the police station to lodge a report due to a problem with her employer.

"The suspect then offered to help the maid to collect her passport from her employer's house," he said in a statement.

However, the suspect drove to a budget hotel at Senai area and forced the victim to have sex with him.

"The suspect also threatened the victim and left her at the hotel after the incident," he said.

Kamaluddin said the victim was taken to the Sultanah Aminah Hospital (HSA) for examination while the suspect has been remanded to facilitate investigations under Section 376 of the Penal Code for rape."
